Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of Safety Health and Wellbeing Administration Officer is:

- Assist the SHW Principal Advisor and team to deliver safety, injury management and wellbeing initiatives for the detention centre as required.
- Actively establish, maintain, update, and navigate records, registers, spreadsheets and data management systems to enable efficiency within the SHW Team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain administrative and office systems and processes, to ensure high quality service delivery. This will include ensuring data is accurate to enable the provision of accurate and relevant information to the Principal Advisor, SHW Team and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain professional client relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to create positive working partnerships which facilitate quality safety, health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Prepare correspondence and reports related to youth detention safety, health and wellbeing functions to effectively contribute to service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Maintain sound and current knowledge of safety, injury management and wellbeing practices to ensure quality outcomes are delivered to detention centre staff, internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate as part of a cohesive high performing team in which all members' contributions are valued and encouraged.
