Production Line Operator

In your role as a Production Operator you will be, at various times, responsible for:

- Making desserts; including correctly reading recipes, measuring and weighing ingredients, following processes, and ensuring paperwork is filled in correctly;
- Operating our filling machinery;
- Packing desserts, and;
- General factory duties.

Key criterion for this role include:

- Ability to work with speed and accuracy
- Adherence to the Company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Adherence to the Company's Personal Hygiene and Hygienic Standards
- Ability to follow instruction
- Maintenance of a clean and safe work space
- Accurate documentation as required on all Company forms and paperwork
- Observation of OH&S guidelines
- An attitude of cooperation and respect
- Ability to work as part of a team

You will need to be in reasonable physical condition as this role requires you to be on your feet for the duration of your work day. You may be required to lift, up to 25kg, and there is movement involved particularly with packing the dessert cartons onto pallets. Squatting, bending and walking are all inherent in the job.

Your hours of work will vary with most shifts beginning at 5am-7am and running for 9.5 hours. The Company operates on a 4-day week, with one RDO. All staff, including casuals, will work a maximum of 4 days or, if a fifth day is worked, this is paid at overtime rates for the entire shift.
