A professional family at Bulimba, QLD are seeking a an experienced and energetic nanny to assist in the care of their 2 children (3yr old girl and 8month old baby boy)

**The normal days are: 5 days per week**

**Start date:25 Nov (Flexible, can look to offer a slow intro ie 2-3 days before xmas and then full time from Jan)**

Days & hours are:
Monday: 7:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Tuesday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Wednesday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

An ideal nanny would be bubbly, energetic and playful. A nanny that has a positive and can-do attitude and is interested to actively engage in indoor and outdoor activities with the children which will aid in their growth and development.

The family is looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy, responsible and reliable and is able to care for the children throughout the day, follow routines and maintain boundaries in a firm but loving way.

Mum is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to work in Feb. Days yet to be determined.

The eldest child is attending kindy a few times per week.

**The carers responsibilities for this role will be as follows**:

- To care for the children
- Follow the children's routine
- Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the children's development
- Take the children out to activities ie different parks, museums, activities (e.g. bounce, tiddlywinks, playgroups, spend time in nature etc)
- Light household duties ie put away toys, clean up after kids meals, assist with folding and putting away laundry
- Prep/Cook meals and snacks for the children and once family evening meal prep a few times a week if time permits
- Homework assistance once eldest is at school
- Grocery shopping and running errands (occasionally)

**The family's expectations from their nanny are**:

- 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualifications preferred but not essential
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Blue Card
- Able to Swim
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Non smoking
- Full drivers license and clean driving record (To drive family vehicle)
