Principal or Associate Director

Our Water Resources team provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects across the municipal, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, defence and oil & gas sectors. The team includes engineers and scientists who specialise in a wide range of technical disciplines such as flood risk management, stormwater management, drainage design, water quality and water sensitive urban design.
Using your strong client-focus and developed networks, you will join our multi-disciplinary team to deliver timely, innovative and high-quality project outputs. You will be a motivational leader, fostering the growth and development of our team, which comprises of a combination of new talent and experienced professionals, whilst focusing on technical excellence, project management and client service satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
We are looking for an innovative and influential leader with a strong local and regional market presence; an individual who can provide technical leadership and business development focus in flooding assessments, whilst fostering a culture of inclusion, support and delivery excellence.
**Essential criteria include the following**:
+ Extensive experience and understanding of consulting engineering in the Australian environment, with exposure to flooding assessments for medium-large and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
+ Strong client focus, high level of motivation and dedication and the ability work well in a team environment
+ Experience with leading project teams and/or flooding packages on major projects
+ High level of proficiency using industry-standard hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software packages (for example TUFLOW, HEC-RAS (1D and 2D) and RORB) and working knowledge of ARR19.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in civil or civil/environmental engineering (focused on water engineering)
