About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete routine maintenance and repairs of irrigation systems.
- Conduct inspections and testing on commercial irrigation systems.
- Program irrigation controllers to meet operational requirements.
- Modify current irrigation systems/install new irrigation systems.
- Operate small plant/equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment and plant.
- Liaise with supervisors and external clients
- Respond to public/customer enquiries.
- Provide work reports.
- Undergoing training and development as required for the role.
- Comply with government policies and procedures and relevant legislation.

About You
- You will have experience operating and maintaining commercial irrigation systems
- You will have great communication skills
- You will be confident with using technology and information systems
- You will be able to work in a team environment
- You will have a safety awareness certification
- Have a valid C class driver’s licence
- A valid National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
- You will understand the importance of workplace safety, including hazard identification in parks and reserves

**Desirable**
- First Aid certification
- Knowledge of bore, pump, and motor systems

**Special Requirements**
- May need to work in high-traffic or congested areas
