Operations Manager

The Operations Manager has the responsibility for ensuring that the day to day delivery of support or services ,center based and specialist accommodation disability services within the portfolio meets the expectations of our clients and other stakeholders through a model of client centric support.
The role requires a sound working knowledge and understanding of disability **and healthcare service delivery**, relevant academic qualifications and wide-ranging professional networks along with possessing a comprehensive knowledge of developments which may impact our services.
**Major role responsibilities**
The organisational plan / goals based on the four key result areas namely : our clients, our people, our operations and our financials are achieved.
**Our clients**:
- Ensure our clients with a disability, in either own accommodation, center based or specialist accommodation, receive the highest standards of support and care
- Work with Case Managers/ Intake offices / Service Coordinator to continue client growth through referral turnaround
- Build working relationship with Support Coordinators and NDIS Business
- Ensure that the number of clients or occasions of service meets business plan expectations
- Coordinate, plan and execute workflow activities for service delivery
- Participate in the review and maintenance of industry specific and internal audit processes, as per Aussie Angels Nursing Services standard policy and procedures
- Internal audits every quarter
**2. Our People (our team)**:
- Lead and manage the service delivery teams within the disability services portfolio
- Oversee the recruitment, development and retention of effective and motivated teams across all areas the business
- Ensure that onboarding, orientation and probation requirements are met for all new workers, including volunteers
- Ensure the professional growth and development of staff
- In relation to Aussie Angels Nursing Services Operations Manager attend such functions, meetings, seminars training courses as directed
- Create a team culture of inspiration and passion for Aussie Angels Nursing Services
- Ensure workplace materials and documentation are maintained in line with legal obligations and best practice standards.
- Set KPIs by department and for individual workers and document within Employee Contribution and Development Plans
- Ensure the reputation and integrity of Aussie Angels Nursing Services is maintained at all times
**3. Our Operations**
- Ensure a strong quality and continuous improvement focus within the disability services team in Aussie Angels Nursing Services
- Work collaboratively with the Manager Clinical Governance to ensure that policies, procedures and forms are aligned to clinical governance activities and service delivery models of practice
- Ensure that all workers are capturing and recording client data, within the appropriate systems, and in a way that informs the support and services that are required by clients as well as those services given.
**4. Our Financials**
- Work collaboratively with the line Manager Business Services to develop and manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring that budgets meet the strategic objectives
- Ensure that all direct reports have a thorough understanding of the financial levers within their budget
- Review income & expenditure statements on a monthly basis and advise line managers of any concerns or anomalies.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- NDIS Knowledge and experience
- Management Degree or Relevant experience in a similar role or a similar industry considered ideal - (Tertiary qualifications in community services, social worker or disability related field)
- Previous client or customer relation experience
- Previous Business experience or knowledge
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
