About the School
Kingaroy State High School is a co-educational school located in the rural community of the South Burnett, approximately 250 km north-west of Brisbane. About the Role
As Deputy Principal -Engagement and Wellbeing, your strategic portfolio includes:

- Build the capability of all staff to make connections between curriculum intent and pedagogical practices to effectively engage all learners.
- Collaboratively develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance staff and student wellbeing.
- Collaboratively develop and implement processes to monitor and track attendance, behaviour and achievement for junior secondary cohorts.
- Leading and line-managing Heads of Department to ensure pedagogy alignment to curriculum plans.
- Lead and support the alignment, adjustments, updating and implementation of collaborative planning to improve staff capability and consistent implementation around the pedagogical approach.
- Lead PBL across the School, with ideas around Behaviour Management techniques, working with staff individually, and in groups, along Classroom Profiling, ESCM, TLAC and other techniques.
