**Labourpower Trade** are working with a client offers a broad range of services to small, medium or large businesses that require branded cardboard packaging, corrugated board die-cut packaging, folding cartons, point of sale displays and digital products.

**The position**
- prepare and install tooling/materials for the next order to facilitate a quick set-up and changeover of jobs;
- keep the work area clean;
- assist with machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance;
- perform in-process quality checks; and
- assisting the Operator in ensuring that the machinery runs at optimal performance.

**Key Requirements**:

- Thread paperboard through feed, tension, corrugating, and gluing rollers, and fill glue reservoirs.
- Start machine and turn dials, wheels, and valves to adjust machine running speed,
- tension on pressure rolls, temperature of hot plates, and to synchronize speed of feed
- rolls.
- Measure, space, and set slitters and creasing heads according to product
- specifications.
- Examine completed work to detect defects and verify conformance to work orders, and
- adjust machinery as necessary to correct production problems.
- Observe operation of machines to detect and correct machine malfunctions such as
- improper forming, glue flow, or paper tension.
- Continuously maintain and clean machine and parts.
- Make regular checks on line for glue bond, delamination and paper movement.
- Finished sheets should be correctly flagged with the job number and quantity.
- The 4 principals in producing a consistent flat sheet when laminating and corrugating

- Driver Licence (preferred)
