**About the role**

Mack Valves is seeking an experienced Manual Lathe Operator to join their skilled team in Kilsyth, Victoria. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of high-quality industrial valves.

**What you'll be doing**
- Operate manual lathes to manufacture and modify industrial valve components to precise specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders to ensure accurate production
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all safety protocols
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify process improvements

**What we're looking for**
- Proven experience as a Manual Lathe Operator, with a strong understanding of machining principles and techniques with at least 3 years experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure precision and quality
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve production issues
- Commitment to workplace safety and a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
