**About Orange Sky**

Orange Sky is the world's-first free mobile laundry and shower service provided to people experiencing homelessness. We offer a platform for everyday Australian’s to connect by creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.

We currently operate 36 services across 25 locations in Australia and three services across three locations in New Zealand. There are 116,000 Australians and 41,600 Kiwis experiencing homelessness, and we’re on a mission to positively connect these communities through clean clothes, warm showers and genuine, non-judgemental conversation.

**The Role**

Over the last eight years, we’ve positively connected thousands of people including donors, friends on the street and volunteers. The corporate services functions at Orange Sky are critical to this impact and as such needs a qualified and skilled leader to take the helm of them.

This role will oversee the Finance, People and Engagement, WHS, Risk and Corporate Services teams at Orange Sky; driving our strategy and performance to support our goals of positively connecting communities. The Chief Corporate Services Officer (CCSO).

**Keep an eye on things**

You’ll lead a small but high performing team of people responsible for all things finance, legal and people related including leading our
- Statutory reporting requirements and finance functions across our Australian and New Zealand entities
- People Experience, Strategy, and Culture
- Pro-bono legal providers to execute legal matters
- OS WHS, risk management, legal requirements, and insurances
- Business and system improvements to ensure scalability as we grow, and appropriate internal controls are maintained;

Recognising the need for a ‘behind the scenes’, internally facing role, the **CCSO** (in conjunction with the leadership team and board) will continue the build of our long term strategy. You’ll be heavy on processes and executing strategy, yet fluid in your approach to getting things done - curveballs don’t discourage you, because you’ve mastered the art of mapping the steps involved to achieve targets and lead people to an outcome. You’re not afraid to sometimes be the baddie and say ‘no’, or ‘not now’. A pragmatic approach to tying the execution of our lofty goals with limited resources will come from your extensive experience in similar roles.

We need someone who can think outside the box, and understand our unique environment. You’ll thrive on the challenge of something new. Not-for-profit experience is great, but not essential. You will come from finance or corporate services role at an executive level, with proven experience in managing a diverse team.
