Your role at St John of God Mount Lawley Hospital - Educator (Clinical) - Surgical Ward
Our surgical ward teams are looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Educator to join our supportive education team.
As a member of the divisional Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for the delivery, assessment and evaluation of Learning and Development programs and activities that reflect best practice standards to achieve excellence in service.

The role is offered on a permanent part-time basis offering 21 hours per week.
The Position- Working collaboratively with L&D Coordinators, identify educational needs through a variety of means (i.e. needs assessment framework) that are aligned with strategic and operational planning, risk management strategy and organisational and local policy.- Delivers, assesses and evaluates local learning impact of programs in accordance with standardised models to ensure that outcomes are achieved.- Provides mentoring, coaching and support to caregivers through experiential learning and assists other members of the team to undertake the same.- Collaborates with a range of health professionals to promote a multi-disciplinary approach to learning whilst promoting a positive and inclusive workplace learning environment, facilitating programs and activities using a blended learning approach.
You will be registered as a Health Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), have well-developed interpersonal, communication and mentoring/coaching skills and have the ability to engage with a diverse workforce to be able to effectively resolve conflict, negotiate and problem solve.

We can offer you- Salary: $100,858 to $107,722 per annum (pro-rata), plus 11.5% superannuation- Part-time permanent position offering 21 hours per week- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
