**About the role**
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated nurse with strong leadership skills to lead the Universal Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Team, support the Enhanced Team Leader and MCH Coordinator to ensure the effective, reliable and professional delivery of the Maternal and Child Health Service.

You will also be part of the Family, Youth and Children's Services Department - a team who are passionate about the best outcomes for children, young people, and families in Glen Eira through advocating, collaborating, and providing high quality services.
- Duties will include but not limited to:_
- Team Lead the day-to-day provision of the MCH service with children 0-6 inclusive of the KAS program, MCH Grad Program, MCH Clinical Placements Program, BFSS and FTPG's
- Participate in MCH strategic and service planning and lead the implementation of any new initiatives into exiting service delivery.
- Provide regular and ongoing leadership, advice, and clinical guidance for MCH staff in order to achieve individual, departmental and corporate objectives.
- Contribute to the development of processes relating to MCH services including accountability processes for staff.
- Engender a sense of teamwork and support to work further towards creating a positive culture conducive to excellent outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies and seeking opportunities to participate in partnership activities

**About you**

You will also have a passion for working with families with children age 0-6 years and enjoy connecting, networking, and engaging with others. You will have the ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, building strong rapport and trusted relationships along the way.

**Skills and Experience**
- Detailed knowledge of the MCH Service guidelines, MCH Program Standards, MCH Service Practice Guidelines, Documentation standards of the MCH Service of Victoria and Child Information Sharing and Family Violence Sharing Scheme
- Current knowledge of and experience in child health, development, behaviour, and health promotion activities, including the ability to accurately assess and plan the management of the child 0-6 years of age, and family
- Ability to manage and re-prioritise changing day to day client/staff needs and emerging risks balancing the operational needs with the clinical decision making
- Post graduate qualification in Child, Family Health Nursing
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as both Registered Nurse (Division 1) and Registered Midwife
- Current Victorian driver's licence and own vehicle
