We currently offer the following services, aged and disability care, transitional care, hospital in the home and palliative care, and post-operative care. **About the role**

We currently have casual positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Professionals to join our team. You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behavior, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing etc.
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support
- Providing support with academic, social, or recreational activities
- Assisting clients with domestic duties, preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting with medications
- Observe, care, and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client.
- Responding to emergency situations

**Essential Criteria**:

- **No Experience or need a Career Change** (need to exhibit ability to work within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client, and a willingness to learn)
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges.
- Willingness to travel.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
- Current unrestricted driver’s license and own reliable presentable car.
- Comprehensive insurance (desirable).
- Australian work authorization.
- Arabic, Greek, Chinese Languages, Macedonian etc. (all welcome)
- All our employees are fully vaccinated. Right at Home Padstow St George works in conjunction with the State Government Public Health Orders under the Public Health Act 2010 which require certain categories of workers to have vaccinations against COVID-19.
