**The Role**

At Melbourne Street Dental Studio, we’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant & Receptionist, to work with our veteran dentists and our book of regular, professional patients.

In return for your expertise, our small, supportive team of dental professionals can offer you immense development opportunities, ideal hours (9 day fortnights), and a competitive hourly rate of up to $35 per hour, plus super.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Facilitating effective communication among dental professionals, staff, and patients.
- Providing clerical and chair-side clinical support.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Patient billing and banking.
- Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls.
- Chair side assistance including 4-handed dentistry.
- Reprocessing and sterilisation of instruments.

**Who Are You?**
- An empathetic but professional individual that brings a balanced approach to patient care - compassionate but not a pushover.
- Excellent communicator; can effectively manage staff and patient interactions.
- Industrious, harding work people that can manage their time and work proactively will fit in well amongst like minded people here.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and A Certificate 3 or 4 in Dental Assisting are advantageous, though not essential.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 36 per week
