**About the Role**
Moreton Hospitality is seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to support our kitchen operations at Beach Hotel Broadbeach and Cora Restaurant. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, this is your opportunity to become part of a vibrant hospitality team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, sanitising equipment, and cleaning workstations and appliances
- Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure all kitchenware is cleaned and stored appropriately
- Sort and dispose of rubbish and cardboard, and clean garbage bins as required
- Assist with stock rotation and organisation in storerooms, fridges, freezers, and pantry areas
- Support basic food preparation tasks such as washing and prepping vegetables
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and PPE protocols, ensuring compliance with OHS standards
- Report hazards, incidents, and near misses through the appropriate channels
- Actively participate in health and safety initiatives, including WH&S meetings and procedures

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable
- Working knowledge of food health and safety regulations
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to be flexible and provide support to the kitchen team as required
- A positive attitude and willingness to follow direction in a fast-paced environment
