The Demand and Supply Planner’s primary responsibility is to develop and maintain a collaborative forecast for the Australian / New Zealand business units and ensure supply to deliver the commercial and functional performance metrics.

**The opportunity where you will make an impact**: Own, drive and lead all Sales and Operational Planning processes across the business.
Develop and maintain the 12 month rolling forecasts for all customers. This forecast will be revised and analyzed monthly.
Continuously improving forecasting techniques, method, and approach.
Develop and track key forecasting KPI’s such as forecast and mix accuracy, on a monthly basis identify outliers and improvement recommendations.
Work closely with internal sales team as well as key customer representatives in the development of the collaborative forecast.
Primary supply chain contact for customers.
Conduct current and future forecasting analysis, ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followed.
Assemble and analyse all data pertinent to creating the sales forecasting (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and eventually tier 1 account POS and inventory levels.
Establish and utilize best practices (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts.
Make recommended adjustments to forecast based on changes in demand and market trends.
Convert statistical sales forecast into rolling 6-12-month supply plan in accordance with agreed inventory policy.
Communicate and execute the supply plan with Glanbia’s manufacturing and 3rd party vendors PO creation, release, tracking. Co-ordinate the international inbound sourcing activities including sea freight, custom’s clearance, and wharf to depot transport to ensure on time receipt of product into Glanbia’s operations within ANZ.
Work with Oceania team to review DOH targets based on current product performance as well as optimize inventory levels to improve freshness and reduce potential bad goods.
Work with sales team/s to develop allocation plans when necessary.
Liaise and co-ordinate with 3PL warehouses where necessary to ensure supply fulfilment.
**What you will bring to GPN**: Four-year degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related area.
Minimum of five to eight years (8) of demand planning or related experience.
Strong analytical capabilities.
Strong knowledge of demand planning process within Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry.
Previous experience working directly with trade partners and sales team in the Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry.
Detailed knowledge and experience utilizing SAP ECC6 SD & MM modules. Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain issues. Good communication and Team building skills.
Detailed oriented.
Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities. Capable of working with cross functional teams and trade partners to deliver accurate consensus forecasts.
Exceptional analytical skills; detail oriented and well organized.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
