**Disability Support Worker**:

- $40 - $72 per hour

- Based in Broadbeach

Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to assist our participant located in Broadbeach, Qld. Our participant is a 62 year old female with a Traumatic Brain Injury and requires 24/7 care. As she can only speak Mandarin, it is essential that all successful Support Workers can speak fluent Mandarin.

This role will be commencing on the 23.8.22 with training being held next week and is on a casual on-going basis.

Shifts include day (6am-2pm), afternoon (2pm-10pm) and active sleepover/night (10pm - 6am) and will be on a set roster each week.

Pay rates are; day - $40 p/hr, afternoon - $44 p/hr, Night - $44.80 p/hr, Saturday - $56 p/hr and Sunday - $72 p/hr.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily assistance and personal care support
- Transferring participant in and out of bed
- Administrating medication
- Drive participant to appointments and other community access activities
- Domestic duties such as meal preparation, cooking and cleaning
- Following specialist recommendations and directions

**Skills and Experience**:

- Completed a minimum of Certificate IV in Disability
- Must have a driver's licence and reliable transport
- Prior experience working with people who have a Traumatic Brain Injury and complex care needs
- Must have hoisting/transferring experience
- Current First Aid & CPR
- National Police Clearance
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
- Current Blue and Yellow Card
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate
- Full Australian working rights
- Positive Attitudes
- Reliable and proactive
