**The Role**

We are seeking an Entry Level Payroll Officer to join our team at our Subiaco Head Office.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone wanting a career change into payroll, to gain hands-on experience, fill their curiosity, and develop their skills in payroll processing.

You will assist in performing payroll for two or more payrolls, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team with payroll-related tasks and queries. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a flexible and proactive work style, and a keen interest in building a career in payroll.

**Permanent part-time opportunity.**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Establish and maintain accurate weekly payroll processes using PayGlobal (end-to-end payroll)
- Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changes
- Maintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations
- Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
- Assist in managing and processing superannuation contributions
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations
- Liaise with, and support the HR and Finance teams
- Work closely with our Payroll Supervisors and Manager to improve data capture and processing efficiencies within payroll

- Focused on continuous improvement and ongoing learning
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and results oriented
- Good people skills - assertive and direct while being a good listener
- Very comfortable with computers, technology and systems
- Ability to follow directions, ask questions and want to learn
- Be motivated and driven.
- Previous HR or finance experience (desirable)
