We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organized team player with the passion to become a key member of our operation. This vacancy for a Leading Hand is a full-time permanent position leading for facilitating the day-to-day production responsibilities of the Stockyards area.

**About the role**:

- Predominantly involves leading small teams of employees.
- Monitoring work standards to ensure that all customer requirements are achieved.
- Driving a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring all employees perform their duties to the required standard of workmanship.
- Insisting on Company procedures always being followed to minimize product loss and production down time.
- Ensuring a productive and positive team spirit including a high level of moral and participation.
- Ensuring safe work practices and Standard Operational Procedures are always followed.

**About you**:

- Strong people management skills along with organizational and communication skills
- The ability to problem solve.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good time management skills.
- An understanding of continuous improvement processes.
- The ability to adapt and be productive in your current work processes and tasks.

To be considered for this opportunity, you need to successfully meet the criteria below:

- High standard of work quality to adhere to customer specifications.
- Demonstrated commitment to perform all tasks in a safe manner, maintain proper use of PPE, and always wear/use this PPE correctly.
- Compliance with the ACC Code of Conduct, for example: your past behaviour is co-operative towards others, with respect for diversity.
