**Description**:
**About the Role**:

- Assist the Payroll Officer with payroll tasks, including processing payroll every two weeks and ensuring everything aligns with policies and awards.
- Learn how to handle employee commencements, terminations, and changes in the payroll system.
- Help with reconciling payroll reports and completing various administrative tasks.
- Stay informed about payroll regulations and awards to ensure compliance.
- Support the finance team by monitoring the finance inbox and addressing accounts queries.
- Perform general financial administration duties and learn the ropes of accounts receivable and payable processing.

**Skills and Experiences**:

- A strong interest in starting or advancing a career in finance
- Intermediate computer skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the aged care industry (highly desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or finance role
- Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Two COVID vaccinations as per government recommendations
