Maxima Has been engaged to recruit a Heavy Diesel Technician for our highly recognised client based at Sydney Airport.

**About the Role**

As a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician you will perform corrective and preventative maintenance utilising your excellent diagnostic and repair skills.

Working on a variety of Ground Service Equipment - both motorised and non-motorised.

You will be working on specialised equipment designed to safely facilitate services in / around the aircraft, so a thorough understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems is required.

The technicians are also responsible for inputting data in the Enterprise Asset Management system to capture maintenance activities and optimise asset performance.

You are a trade qualified mechanic / diesel mechanic who is looking to work in a great team environment with a group of people who are dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and have a strong customer focus.

You possess the following skills. knowledge and experience:

- Excellent communication skills
- Sound computer literacy
- Certificate in Automotive or equivalent (Heavy Stream preferred)
- 5 years post-trade experience (ideally with heavy diesel vehicles)
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills with a thorough understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
- The ability to adapt under pressure.
- You're self-confident and can stay calm under pressure
- You're organised and can manage time well
- Your physically fit as lifting up to 32kg is required
- You have basic - intermediate computer skills

Previous Ground Support Equipment maintenance experience would be highly regarded as well as a Forklift Licence and EWP Elevated Work Platform.
