Buderim OSHC (Outside School Hours Care) is a P&C operated service, located in the heart of Buderim (within Buderim Mtn. State School). The high quality OSHC service focuses on community, leadership, and social/emotional learning for more than 150 children/families. Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety - ensuring the children’s health and safety at all times is paramount
- Relationships - building and maintain positive relationships with children and families
- Documentation - all educators are required to complete observations, evaluations and reflections.
- Programming - with the assistance of our Educational Leader, educators are to assist in the planning and implementation of a dynamic program.
- Staff Relationships - all educators are required to build positive and professional relationships with their fellow employees.
Qualifications:
- Working with Children Card/Blue Card (or able to obtain)
- Hold or studying (or willing to study) a minimum of a Certificate III in an area of study relevant to working with children (recognised by ACECQA)
Other Information:
- Flexibility required as shifts vary across Monday to Friday
- Availability for Before School Care is 6am - 9.00am and for After School Care is 2.00pm - 6.00pm
- Approximately 10 - 30 hours per week depending on availability (Casual & Permanent Educator Positions available). Hours can be negotiated
- Remuneration as per current P&C award
- An annual retention bonus
- It is preferred that you will have your own transport

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
