We work collaboratively with individuals, services and systems across the Canberra and South Coast Region to cultivate our participant’s capacity for creativity, care, compassion, realism, and resilience.

At Wellcare Australia, we provide shared housing and assistance for mental health participants with ongoing care needs. Our vision is to provide excellent person-centered and recovery-oriented care, through the provision of our support workers, to help our participants through their recovery journey. Wellcare Australia is also a registered NDIS provider.

We are seeking experienced, suitably qualified, and motivated people to fulfill numerous casual positions within our residential houses. The successful applicants will work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver holistic care and support to our participants.

The successful applicants will need to have a minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health, Disability Services, or other related field, as well as experience in working in a residential care or mental health setting. Applicants with a Certificate III in Mental Health, Disability Services, or other related field, as well as a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a residential care or mental health setting, are also encouraged to apply.

**NOTE**:Applicants must be available to work for a minimum of 3 days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) per week to be considered for this role**

You must obtain a Working with Vulnerable People clearance through the Office of Regulatory Services (ACT) and undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to an offer of employment. Applicants must also hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate, Covid19 Vaccination certificate, and complete the NDIS Orientation Module and COVID-19 Infection Control Module prior to employment.

Please note, a valid driver’s license and your own comprehensively insured vehicle are mandatory.
