We provide Supported Independent Living (SIL) style accommodation to people with a disability. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide the best quality service, in a person-centred way, tailored to meet the needs of our Participants.

**About the Role**:
We are looking for passionate and resilient **FEMALE** to join our team and help support our clients to build their social and independent living skills. This role will be situated in Canberra, working across a 24/7 roster, weekends, and public holidays.

**Key Responsibilities**.
- Demonstrate person-centred care principles.
- Managing emotions and challenging behaviours.
- Administrative duties i.e., shifts notes and reports.
- Provide direct care and support to people with a disability with all activities of daily living which may include domestic duties, personal care, social support, medication assistance, manual handling, transport, meals, and attending appointments.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all key stakeholders; clients, families, guardians, and involved services.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Current unrestricted driver’s license.
- Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Current NDIS worker check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working With Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable vehicle with current registration and comprehensive car insurance that you are willing to use to transport Clients.
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepover, weekends, and public holidays.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.

**Desired Criteria**:

- Relevant industry qualification.
- Experience working in the community services sector.
- Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with mental health, complex needs, and challenging behaviours.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 per hour

- 5years: 1 year (required)

- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
