Our newly appointed Assistant Director will work alongside the Centre Director and leadership team to ensure best practices and the continued success of the centre.

Green Leaves Mount Pleasant is led by an experienced team that are continuously considering how to:

- Address children’s rights and honour diversity in all kinds of positive ways
- Build respectful and genuine connections with families and communities
- Collaboratively create a community of learners, and view children as active citizens.

**Our next leader will**:

- Work closely with our Centre Director on day-to-day operations
- Create positive, professional, and genuine relationships with team members, children, and their families
- Leverage your experience as you float between rooms to develop and deliver high standards of educational programs
- Seek perspectives, actively listen, and take onboard feedback that further develops ideas or resolves any grievances
- Demonstrate that you are warm, compassionate, and gentle with your communication and have strong time management, organisational, written, and verbal skills
- Focus on quality improvement and supporting teams to understand and follow Green Leaves policies and procedures
- Display high levels of initiative and motivation whilst being proactive and flexible with a mature approach
- Be available Monday to Friday, on rotating shifts between 6.30am and 6:30pm

**You will hold**:

- Current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)
