**About our role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Category Manager** **to join the Seafood focussed team at our Head Office in Mentone. Reporting to the Procurement Category Leader, you will establish a long-term, 1-3 year category plan for seafood (ambient & frozen) to drive value across the enterprise for the assigned spend area.

**What you will do**:

- Develop and manage internal/external relationships by providing commercial and technical support to meet business portfolio objectives and goals
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and performance to ensure delivery of service, quality, cost and supply commitments
- Lead sourcing projects including RFI, RFP, RFQ and contract development
- Develop category plan with mid to high-level critically and complexity
- Manage complex cost modelling scenarios including total cost of ownership, and implementation of continuous improvement processes
- Travel internationally during the year (aligned to fishing seasons).

Leaning into your proven understanding of international seafood trade, our team will benefit from your solid knowledge of best practice international procurement and supplier management expertise. Your S.E Asia markets connections and established supply base will be an added bonus to help you hit the ground running and ultimately accelerate our strategic 1-3 year seafood plan.

Your brand will be well respected for your pragmatic but compliance oriented approach to sourcing, negotiation and vendor management practices. International logistics, a solid understanding of MRP, product development and JDE would also be well regarded.
