**About the Role**:

The Audit and Risk Coordinator is responsible for making a significant contribution to DEW's governance by leading, developing, and managing DEW's strategy for risk and audit. The Audit and Risk Coordinator will develop and implement effective risk and audit frameworks, policies, procedures, and systems in order to successfully identify and treat risks across the Department. The Audit and Risk Coordinator will influence the Agency's risk management culture to support proactive and informed decision making, and will provide strategic advice and support to the Department's Executive and Business Units.

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness to drive is essential.
- Inter and intrastate and remote area travel is required, including travel in light aircraft.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.

**Remuneration**:
ASO7 $108,109 min - $116,864 max p.a.
