1300apprentice currently have a fantastic opportunity for a 1st to 4th year Parks and Gardens Apprentice to join the dynamic team at TAFE NSW at their **Ryde Campus**.

Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be studying a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens over 48 months.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Implement a plant nutrition program
- Improve soil quality
- Control weeds, pests, diseases and disorders
- Participate in work health and safety processes
- Use hand tools and machinery to create a park or garden
- Perform specialist pruning

**Must have**:

- If you have already commenced a Parks and Gardens apprenticeship, you must have up to date TAFE transcripts
- Experience with using basic hand tools
- Current White card.

**To be successful**:

- Must be motivated and hard working
- Physically fit
- Willing to learn and take direction well
- Good attitude
