**The role**

The Works Supervisor provides expert advice and knowledge to residents in installations of Pressure Sewer Systems (PSS). They will also support the management of the contractors, including monitoring and auditing the standard of work (during and after installation), and ensuring all works relating to Pressure Sewer Installations are delivered safely with safety being our highest priority.

**Who are you?**

To be successful you will have
- Trade Qualifications - Certificate III in Building & Construction or equivalent.
- Broad technical knowledge of Pressure Sewer Systems both on property assets and network assets
- Highly developed analytical skills used for planning and problem solving.
- Good written communication to prepare informed responses to customers on issues.
- Excellent computer skills to operate well known systems and ability to quickly adapt to using propriety systems
- Ability to present and discuss complex technical information including clear and professional communication with South East Water customers.
- Experience in a similar role and/or in the water or construction-based sectors.
- Possess a thorough understanding of appropriate OH&S Regulations, Australian Standards and Water and Sewer Codes of Practice.
- Strong experience and knowledge in aspects associated with plumbing processes and with Pressure Sewer systems.
- A proven ability to work independently under broad direction.
- Ability to work both collaboratively or autonomously.
- Possess creative thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and can relate well to others, listens, understands and communicates effectively (verbal, digital and written) to different audiences.
