Hydraulic Designer

We are looking for a motivated person that is going to enhance our team with their experience in AutoCAD/Revit as well as a basic understanding of Hydraulic principles. As a Hydraulic Designer or Draftsperson at Vital Design Solutions, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Working closely with senior designers and engineers to complete documentation and reporting.
- Consulting with clients, other industry professionals and the relevant authorities.
- Completing work assigned to you within the specified time frames.

You will be required to draft/design elements within the Hydraulics discipline with mínimal guidance. These include, but are not limited to:

- Water Services (cold, heated, reclaimed, recycled and specialty water systems)
- Drainage Services (sanitary, stormwater, subsurface and trade waste)
- Gas Services (natural gas and liquified petroleum gas)
- Waste Water Management (black and grey water harvesting and tradewaste treatment)
- Stormwater Management (retention systems, detention systems and treatment facilities)

**Minimum Requirements**
- One year prior experience working as a Hydraulic Services Drafter.
- Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.
- An understanding of hydraulic systems including storm water, sewer, sanitary plumbing, and water reticulation.
- Knowledge of Revit highly desirable, however not essential.
- Knowledge of ACT standards desirable, however not essential.
