About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to;
- Lead the development of quality manufacturing standards and techniques for the work unit
- Engage in complex clinical and technical tasks requiring independent decision making and judgement as a technical specialist in the field of rehabilitation engineering
- Manage and monitors the quality of output of the multi-disciplinary team of the REC while they undertake manufacturing tasks.

About you
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined below.
- Regularly provide independent expert technical judgement on complex clinical and technical procedures within a work area and to practitioners from other facilities, service areas and/or from other disciplines.
- Lead the technical skills development of a trans-disciplinary work team, consisting of technical and/ or clinical HP officers from one or more professional disciplines, inclusive of students and their supervision.
