**Fundamental Purpose**:
The primary role of the **Head of Sales** is to create and drive the ANZ Architectural Coatings sales organization and scale revenue to the next level. Develop the strategy and business plan that delivers sustainably profitable growth whilst driving strong & inclusive engagement throughout the sales force.
Achieve sales, growth and profit targets, price discipline and the execution of marketing, brand, and promotional strategies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Deliver all requirements of the role in accordance with PPG corporate values and set the standards and procedures to ensure compliance with Corporate EH&S and Ethics policies
- Full P&L ownership of the ARC Australian Retail and Trade channels.
- Lead the development and execution of short, mid term & long term channel/customer strategies working intimately with the Head of Marketing in order to execute through the line with excellence.
- Key stakeholder in the IBP/S&OP process, leading Demand Review & responsible for all relevant KPIS for the ARC business unit.
- Oversee all new business/re-sign deals ensuring profitable growth outcomes
- Excellent internal Stakeholder management across EHS, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance and HR locally
- Build regional and global relationships across the PPG network to gain insight and knowledge for the ANZ market
- Create and build strategic partnerships & relationships with customers, externally & internally
- Build and maintain a ‘best in class’ sales team, ensuring solid talent and succession planning.
- Engage & empower individuals to deliver on the key KPIs set.
**Requirements**:
- Business Degree (or equivalent) qualified.
- Minimum of 7 years demonstrated senior sales experience within FMCG, hardware and/or performance coatings segments.
- Experience of strategically managing a large customer (FMCG, Pharmacy and/or Hardware)
- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
- Strong commercial acumen: ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
- Proven ability to work well with and influence cross-functional teams
- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
