**The Role**

In order to provide a superior customer service solution to our customers we provide local delivery services for those in the local SEQ area. The role also involves the pick up and delivery of metal parts to third party process providers.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Delivery of completed orders to customers in the South East Queensland area;
- Drop off and collection of customer orders to third party process providers;
- Liaison with Office Manager and Dispatch teams for logistics purposes;
- Communication with customers and suppliers when attending their premises.
- When not doing deliveries, providing dispatch team with assistance of packing and wrapping customer orders, acceptance of deliveries, facilitating courier pickups etc.

**About You**
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a industrial manufacturing dispatch role will be well regarded but is not essential.
- Open unrestricted C Class licence;
- Current Forklift licence;
- Ability to tow a trailer on the occasions it may be required;
- Excellent driving record;
- Experience towing trailer required;
- Good communication skills;
- Well presented;
- Have a focus on safe work practices;
- Show attention to detail in the work performed;
- Be physically fit;
- Have an excellent work ethic, being punctual and hard working with a good attendance record;
- Basic computer skills;
- Current unrestricted right to work in Australia.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
- towing trailer: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
