About the role

UltraShade is seeking a full-time Aluminium Process Worker to join our dynamic team in Boondall, QLD. In this hands-on role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing and assembly of our high-quality shade products. With a focus on safety and efficiency, you will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operating specialised machinery and equipment to fabricate aluminium components
  2. Carefully assembling and finishing aluminium products to precise specifications
  3. Occasionally joining the team to complete on site installations
  4. Making deliveries and pick ups in the work vehicle
  5. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
  6. Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and achieve quality standards
  7. Identifying and reporting any issues or process improvements to supervisors
  8. Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role, preferably within the aluminium or construction industry
  2. Current Australian driver's licence (essential for deliveries and installations)
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and consistency
  4. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate various tools and equipment
  5. A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  6. The ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions
  7. A keen eye for quality and a desire to contribute to the success of the business
  8. Full work rights in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)
