Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Communications and Engagement Business Partners on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

**Position Overview**

The APS5 Communications and Engagement Business Partners is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex work by sharing and developing specialised knowledge in areas of expertise. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position.

It is a team membership position and where required, will perform work that involves team leadership responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and allocating work to other lower-level team members within a team.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- Contributing to a team to deliver communications and engagement strategies, plans, content and activities that support NDIA Corporate Plan objectives.
- Developing, implementing and monitoring targeted communication and engagement plans and content.
- Managing internal and external communications and engagement channels to support business areas reach their intended audiences.
- Capturing and reporting metrics to review the impact of communication and engagement approaches, identifying areas of overlap and key gaps to continue to refine and improve plans and strategies.
- Producing content for a variety of channels including NDIS website, Ministerial and Executive Briefings, event materials, social media and other communication platforms.
- Supporting the coordination and delivery across the division including capturing feedback to measure effectiveness of activities and strategies, identifying associated risks and trends.
- Managing Inbox and responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Drafting clear, concise and effective messaging to people with disability, their families and carers as well as other community and mainstream stakeholders.
