**About the Role**:
The successful applicant must be able to work split shifts between 4:30am-7:30am / 3.00-6pm, 5 days per week. We are flexible in relation to daily hours.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Cleaning of windows, floors, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment along with a host of other responsibilities pertinent to the role.
- Security - arming and disarming school security systems as required.
- Locking and unlocking of buildings.
- The position of cleaner reports directly to the school Business Manager. The successful applicants will be engaged in split shifts. The start and finish times will vary, however, will be between 4:30am and 6pm. If the successful applicant(s) are engaged in split shift arrangement, a split shift allowance will be paid each day a split shift is worked.

**What we are looking for**:

- Education QLD cleaning experience is preferred but not essential for this position.
- Applicant must be available to work between 4:30am-6pm
- A team player with the ability to perform under direction, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work demands and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated knowledge, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge, of departmental cleaning policies, practices and procedures used in schools.
- A criminal history check will be initiated on the successful applicant.
