**About the role**

The **Counter Sales (Gyprock) / Warehouse Operator**role**is a** Full-time**position, based at **Unanderra, NSW.** Reporting to **the Store Manager**you will join our** Gyprock Trade Centre**delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the store and warehouse.

In this role you will**:

- Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers in store and in the warehouse.
- Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
- Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
- Unloading inbound orders of stock.
- Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
- Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
- Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
- Contributes to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.

Your hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am to 3pm. Every 2nd Saturday from 7am-11am paid as overtime.

- Forklift licence and experience are essential to perform your duties.
- Possess a strong work ethic.

- Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.
- Must be confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
- Experience working in a fast paced and busy environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
