**Position Summary**:
The Support Worker provides high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, aged care needs, or other support requirements. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with personal care, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support
- Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, and medication reminders
- Encourage and facilitate participation in social, recreational, and community activities
- Implement and monitor individual care plans, documenting progress and reporting any concerns
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for clients at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure consistent and quality care

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Relevant qualifications in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care (Certificate III or equivalent preferred)
- Experience in community, disability, or aged care support is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Empathy, patience, and a client-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
