**About The Mental Health Division**
- The Mental Health Division (MHD) provides mental health assessment and interventions for people experiencing mental illness and their families and carers. Working from a recovery-oriented model, the Mental Health Division provides an array of hospital-based, community and specialist services for infants, children, young people, adults and older adults.

**About the role**
- The Lived Experience Worker - Carer Support is an integral member of the CCS multidisciplinary team. Drawing on their own, unique lived experience and
- perspective as a carer of another person with a mental illness, they will contribute to the provision of recovery oriented, trauma-informed, evidence-based peer support interventions to families and carers.
- A regular day will see you:

- Provide invaluable support to the carers of our registered clients
- Make meaningful change by bringing your lived experience to our team & help us make a difference
- Help our clinicians to grow and understand the family/carer perspective & to provide hope and in belief in recovery

**About you**:
As the Lived Experience Worker, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to support our consumers & their carers on their recovery journey. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
