Finnish Early Childhood Education (Australia) Pty Ltd is an unprecedented education group establishing services aiming to deliver Australian children a unique early childhood education by blending Finnish and Australian early childhood education concepts. Our curriculum is based on the Finnish education concept of holistic learning and play.

We are currently seeking two dynamic and culturally diverse individuals to join our team in Melbourne, VIC as a Full-time (38 weekly working hours) Education Manager.

ABOUT YOU:

- Having at least 20 years of full-time working experience in the early childhood education sector or other education sectors, and over 10 years of experience at the management level.
- University degree(s) in Education / Early childhood education / Second language learning Good command of both English and other Asian / European language
- Experience in supporting non-English speaking students’ language learning
- Must have experience in planning curriculum, preparing learning portfolios and progress report
- Able to work independently, and is enthusiastic about second language teaching in early childhood education settings
- Teaching experience in an early childhood setting is preferred but not necessary
- Willing to accept challenges and have a positive attitude, sense of responsibility and good communication skills
- Familiar with computer operation, able to use computer software to produce short videos or teaching materials preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinating the educational, administrative and financial affairs of a language programme unit of a group of early education centres in Victoria and NSW
- Researching, developing, implementing, reviewing and evaluating educational and administrative policy of language programme implementation in multiple early education services
- Liaising between early learning services, parents and the wider community
- Providing advice on language programme development and implementation
- Consulting with academic and administrative staff within the education organization to coordinate educational programs
- Identifying and addressing present and future needs for student and staff development regarding second language learning in early childhood education settings
- Researching educational systems and monitoring and evaluating new developments in second language learning in Victoria and NSW
- Researching and reporting on the students’ needs arising from curriculum implementation of the language programme
- Developing and delivering training programs for teachers and parents
- Providing professional support, co-ordinate and deliver educational training programs for educators in the centre

SALARY RANGE:
$100K - $115K per annum plus superannuation
