**Position: Primary and Secondary Education Tutors**

**Subjects**: - English(Y1-12) ;
- Scholarship English and Selective school English

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Provide group tutoring sessions to students in primary and secondary year levels.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure continuity in learning and support the integration of tutoring sessions.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and educational best practices to enhance teaching methods and approaches.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student confidence and academic growth.

**Qualifications & experience**
- **Must** have obtained a Bachelor's degree or a current university student.
- **Must** have current VIT **or** Working with Children Check.
- Available to work after school and on weekends
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience in primary or secondary education preferred but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills to plan and manage tutoring sessions effectively.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
- IB teaching experience will be considered favourably

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Casual
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $60.00 - $150.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
