About the Role

As a catering assistant/kitchen hand you will be responsible for enhancing residents’ dining experience by ensuring and maintaining a personalised and customer-focused approach while maintaining food safety practices in line with regulations. You will be reporting to the Manager of Residential Services and working with the care, health and hospitality team.

**Your Contribution**
- Provide a varied and nutritional food service, which meets the needs of the aged residents within the residential aged care setting.
- Provide excellent personalised service to our residents.
- Prepare meals and drinks.
- Distribute meals to residents, assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties.
- Dining room services.
- Complete documentation.
- Exhibit our values of Kindness, Integrity, Connection and Optimism in all interactions

What You Bring
- You bring experience in hospitality or care services, ideally within residential aged care, qualifications a plus
- You’re warm, approachable and communicate clearly with residents and team members
- You’re comfortable using IT systems and open to learning new tools
- You work well in a team and always put residents at the centre of what you do
- You’re physically capable of handling a hands-on role and ready to pitch in where needed
- You hold (or are willing to obtain) a current National Criminal History Check suitable for aged care
