**The Role**
The APS 6 Defence Integrity Case Management System (DECMS) Support Officer is responsible to the Assistant Director Systems within the Knowledge and Intelligence (K&I) Directorate for:

- Quality assurance and quality control of information and data entered into the DECMS system by Joint Military Police Unit personnel.
- Producing reports on DECMS information to inform the Joint Military Police Unit and Senior Leadership.
- Providing a basic level of support to Joint Military Police Unit personnel (approx. 500 staff nationwide and overseas) navigating and entering information and data into the DECMS system.
- Assisting the Role Steward in the allocation, review and removal of DECMS role access to personnel within the Joint Military Police Unit.

**About our Team**
The Joint Military Police Unit (JMPU) conducts specialist military policing from 26 Defence base locations, nationwide and overseas. The JMPU also offers support to the civilian police and the general community in Defence related matters. This position will give the successful applicant the opportunity to work in the JMPU headquarters, which is an integrated workforce within the Military Police environment. Within JMPU, the Knowledge and Intelligence (K&I) Directorate is responsible for providing intelligence products and information management support to the policing aspects of JMPU. Within K&I, the Systems team manages the use of the Defence Enterprise Case Management Solution (DECMS), provides support and produces reports to support informed decision-making for Military Police and a range of stakeholders for a variety of purposes.
