About the Role:
Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional looking for a site based role where you can be home very night?

We have a great opportunity to join our WA Mining H&S team as a Health & Safety Consultant. Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, the position is critical to the Huntly and Willowdale locations to assist in the reduction of risk and improve the health and safety performance of the line organisation.

This is a Monday to Friday days roster position, primarily based at the Pinjarra based Mining Hub with travel to Huntly and Willowdale as a regular requirement.

You will work closely with both locations providing Health & Safety coverage, support, technical advice and coaching to employees at all levels. In addition to this, you will be ensuring that location level H&S audits are conducted, documented and appropriate corrective actions implemented to maintain compliance with company requirements.

Your flair for developing and delivering training programs will provide the opportunity to create positive improvements. You will also be leading teams on a variety of sponsored projects and activities within the department including safety representatives, project SPA's and supervisors.

What you can bring to the role:
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:- Strong Health & Safety related experience, ideally in an industrial environment.-
- Excellent interpersonal enabling you to lead people in the continuous improvement of health and safety systems, and performance.- Contractor experience is desirable- Proficient in utilising Microsoft excel and various incidental management systems
