The goal of the Tennis Women and Girls Strategy is to improve access and opportunities for women and girls in tennis to achieve gender equality in the sport. To achieve this goal, and with the assistance of federal government funding, we are looking for a Women and Girls Coordinator - TAS to join our team on a part-time fixed-term basis until September 2025.

Tennis is a sport that is open for all and we want our team to reflect the communities we work and play in.

We strongly encourage women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people who identify as LGBTQI, people with a disability and people from culturally diverse backgrounds to apply.

About the role

In this role you will:

- Support Member Association leadership to ensure the national Women and Girls strategy is reflected in the MA strategy
- Deliver Women and Girls programs and initiatives to increase the number of Women and Girls leading and playing tennis
- Monitor, evaluate and report on MA Women and Girls programs and initiatives
- This role is a part-time (3 days per week) fixed-term contract to 30 September 2025

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Commitment to sports and inclusion with a strong dedication to fostering gender equality for women and girls in the tennis
- Experience delivery professional development programs
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, plan work programs, and meet deadlines efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- A tertiary qualification in business management, education, sports science, or a related field is desirable
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
