HomeStart Finance believe that affordable home ownership is essential to the health, well-being and ongoing sustainability of our communities. HomeStart’s role, within the framework of government policy, is to provide leadership and innovation in the housing finance sector by enabling more South Australians to fulfil their home ownership dreams. This is done through the provision of innovative housing finance solutions.

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the Marketing & Communications Leader is responsible for driving the development of a Marketing & Communications Strategy that supports the achievements of HomeStart’s strategic objectives. This includes delivering the Marketing & Communications plan in line with the organisations Strategic Plan; the on-going measurement of outcomes against deliverables, the setting and management of budgets, target markets and managing third party relationships including sponsorships. The Marketing & Communications Leader is also responsible for the team’s effective operations and proactively managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

You will have demonstrated your capability to work and perform in cross functioning teams using contemporary communications and marketing approaches to innovate. Working in a similar environment and understanding how to navigate the political landscape and manage a range of key stakeholders will be crucial as well and your strong track record of public speaking and presenting. You will possess significant experience in the planning and development of a wide range of marketing collateral and how to execute campaigns with clear messaging and effective customer experience practices.

**Essential Criteria**
- Relevant degree level qualification with at least 5 years senior leadership experience in a complex and diverse environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing an established brand, and delivery of integrated campaigns.
- Proven capability across a range of media channels, including above and below the line.
- Experience with digital campaigns, use of CRM systems, and integration of data into marketing strategies & tactics.
- Commercially focused and results orientated.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
