**You role as a Trades Assistant will include**:

- Help trades personnel (Electrical & Mechanical) with maintenance tasks as required
- Complete daily routine rounds such as emptying cardboard cages, removing waste plastic containers, assisting with the rubbish disposal and tidy designated areas
- General repairs to toilet cisterns and pipe work, training to be provided
- Pressure clean equipment, and painting
- Moving of office equipment and furniture, and tidying/cleaning process areas prior to and on job completion
- Collection of parts and materials from suppliers
- General duties may require operating some hand tools, training provided
- Driving forklift, emptying skips moving pallets, and operating a EWP
- Ensure own safety and health at work and avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person through any act or omission at work
- Complete daily work records and input relevant data on computerised maintenance management system

**We are looking for someone who has the following**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Working with heights (desirable)
- Must have a valid driver's License
- Valid LF (forklift) High Risk Work License (desirable)
- Strong time management ability
- High level of communication
- Ability to perform physical tasks of the role including bending, lifting and carrying, manual labour and use of hand and power tools
