Facilities Officer

Salary: $74,079 - $83,267 p.a. plus 11.5% Super - Join a team that supports community health & fitness - Work in a fast-paced environment **About the role** This is a **4-month, fixed-term, full-time** position working **35 hours** per week based at **Bomaderry Indoor Sports Centre**. This role will manage Council's portfolio of community facilities, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and provide effective support for public enquiries. **Duties** Reporting directly to the Northern Leisure Manager, the focus of this position is to: - Facilitate the smooth running of Council's public halls, community centres, sports ground and showground. - Perform the role of "Management Committee Ombudsman" for Council Management Committees. - Provide an efficient and effective point of contact for public enquiries regarding Council's facilities. - Develop and implement a business and marketing strategy for Council's Facilities. - Administer bookings for Council managed community facilities and collate information. - Issue permits, temporary licence agreements and invoices, and reconcile payment of accounts. - Assist Management Committees in the preparation and maintenance of a Facility Management Plan. **Skills & Experience** To be successful in the position, you will possess: - Tertiary qualification in business, property management, recreation planning or management, event management or related field, or equivalent experience in community facility management. - Demonstrated ability to manage high workloads. - Ability to demonstrate customer service values. - Current Class C Driver's Licence. - Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (Visa). - A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC). **About Shoalhaven City Council** Shoalhaven City Council is a dynamic organisation serving a large and diverse community; limitless opportunity exists for an exciting and rewarding career.
