**The role**

As a Nine Mile Delta 1/ETF Trader, you will be a key member of our Global ETF Market Making team, based in Sydney, with a focus on trading Hong Kong and China ETF/D1 products.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Developing and executing trading strategies for Hong Kong and China ETFs/D1 products
- Researching to identify new trading opportunities in the Hong Kong and China ETF markets
- Collaborating closely with the broader market-making team to drive performance and optimize execution
- Implementing algorithmic strategies and associated tools specifically for Hong Kong and China markets
- Proactively engaging with regulators, issuers, exchanges, and brokers in Hong Kong, China, and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

What you will bring:

- 3+ years of relevant trading experience at a High-Frequency Trading Firm
- Computer programming skills in Python, C++, etc.
- Highly advanced ability in probability and statistics
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- A passion for financial markets
- Strong academic record in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or an equivalent degree
