WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE NEW BREED OF DIGITAL DESIGNER
Are you a Midweight Designer who loves design, and the opportunities new technologies and thinking provides? Change is something you thrive on and moving fast keeps it interesting for you.
You will have a strong design eye, are curious about brands and understand what it takes to create beautiful digital work. You're someone who gets excited by new challenges and the opportunities to work across a wide breath of work - from digital campaigns and experiences to products & services at scale.Not only are you fun to be around, but you're also a team player, able to work collaboratively and proactively. You think about both the big picture and drill down to the finer details. You know the difference between good and great design.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- You'll work with a team of designers, an Associate Design Director and a Head of Design to create design ideation, concepts, assets and presentations that are of high quality and challenge the norm.
- You'll also work collaboratively with others in the business - creatives, strategists, data, UX, tech - to bring new thinking and design solutions to the table, to create world class work.
- You'll research and explore latest and emerging design trends, sharing this knowledge with the team.
- You'll participate in workshops, design critiques, team meetings and client presentations.
HOW WILL WE KNOW YOU ARE THE ONE?
You have 3-4 years of experience in a design role within a brand, design or advertising agency. You have portfolio of work that demonstrates your design thinking, as well as your design execution.
- 3-4 years design experience across a range of digital design disciples. brand digital, campaigns etc
- A solid understanding of design processes.
- A strong grasp of design principles such as typography, layout, colour, grid systems, etc.
- Motion skills
- A solid knowledge of Adobe's Creative Suite and a high proficiency in Figma.
- Skilled in design ideation and thinking. You can conceptualise an idea and then express it visually.
- A curiosity for learning skills beyond design (illustration/motion/user experience/code/business)
- A resilient attitude, always ready to pitch in and roll with the punches.
